I just passed ten years in Los Angeles, migrating here from the Southwest, by way of a Masters Degree in Fine Art from the San Francisco Art Institute. Settling here into this region was my Emerald City journey. Here I am trying to use the influence of this great and diverse metropolis to influence my experience in this world.
What you see on this site are my interpretations of how I feel about the human experience — a fragile precipice upon which are delicately balanced opposing forces of all kinds. I hope you enjoy discerning these precarious balances as much as i try to strike a balance between these forces. You might find though, my suspicion that some forces are stronger than others.
Artwork has been part of two traveling video presentations for MEDinArt. Current traveling presentation is a part of a much larger “Vesalius Continuum”, commemorating the 500 years after the birth of Andreas Vesalius, the Flemish anatomist and Europoen humanist. Both presentations, and traveling details are here, at MEDinArt.eu.
